Q. Where do you ship from?
We ship from Queens New York - via USPS & UPS were applicable
Q. When do you ship your deliciously decadent items?
We ship on Mondays to ensure you receive the freshest tasting product! We will work with you to ensure the items you ordered are shipped so they are received by a specific day. Processing times may vary throughout the year based on seasonal fluctuations - [holidays and extreme weather conditions]
Breads | Cookies | Brownies are temperature sensitive so we want to ensure they are shipped via USPS priority which will ensure a quicker delivery. It is noted, you should consider setting up notifications once you receive your tracking information.
It is important to note, we do not ship CodFish Balls | Slap Yo Mama Coleslaw | Carefree Carrot Cake w|Rose Water Frosting. These items are all curbside pickup or fee based delivery Specials
Q. Do You Deliver?
There is a fee based delivery service, available to schedule. Please call 347 855 5857 to discuss what is available. In addition, we also offer curbside pickup
Q. My Order has not arrived, what next?
Please check your email for the notification of shipment - next check with the carrier [USPS | UPS] next reach out to us at sales@mumskitchensnyc.com.
If your package is marked as delivered per USPS | UPS website, MumsKitchens NYC is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. We will however, do our best, to find a way to make it right for you.
Q. Can I Return an Item
No. We are not able to take any returns on Food Items! We can however, work with you to find the best solution for the issue[s] you encountered that are acceptable to both of us
General Questions
General Hygiene | Hand washing | Contractors
As a small business, we have had many safety precautions in place before the pandemic started! We have just upped our requirements! Everyone is required to wear a mask & gloves. Everyone is encouraged to not touch their eyes nose nor mouth while working. If they do, they are required to change their gloves.
Hand washing and changing gloves between activities is a must.
No one is allowed into our kitchen/facility
All deliveries are made and picked up curb side!
All orders are picked up curbside!
We adhere to CDC guidelines and recommendations
Q. Food Allergens?
The Deliciously Decadent Treats are made in a facility where nuts [Macadamia | Walnut | Pecans | Almonds are present] ingredients of milk, wholewheat and eggs are also present!
Please note we have separate mixing bowls, utensils and baking pans for our Vegan & Gluten Free items
Q. Does your baked goods have any additives or preservatives
No. We do not use additives nor preservatives in any of our products
Q. Who creates the special flavor combinations?
A majority of our recipes were passed down by my Mama & GrandMama! We are a made from scratch women run business following recipes from the generations of women that came before us. We have made minute modifications to some and my daughter created quite a few on her own! She is always in the kitchen baking up new ideas.
Q. How do I store my Treats?
Breads | Cookies | Brownies stay fresh on the counter for up to three days then can be stored in the fridge for another three days or in freezer for up to three months
For Breads - if you want to store your bread, we suggest slicing the bread, wrap each slice individually then place in plastic/freezer bag, remove all air from bag and place towards the back of the freezer. Remove overnight and allow to come back to room temperature before serving! As the OG mums does, you can also warm it up in the toaster oven
Cookies - once stored in refrigerator remove about an hour before serving or lightly warm up in a toaster oven before serving
Brownies - Stored in the fridge -> remove about an hour before serving or treat yourself to a warm gooey treat [toaster oven or microwave or air fryer]
Brownies - Stored in the Freezer [up to three months] --> Plan ahead, move the brownies down to the fridge a minimum of twenty four [24] hours before you want to serve them and out on the counter an hour before eating. You can also treat yourself to a warm gooey treat by placing them in the toaster oven or microwave.

No. All items must be paid in advance using our accepted payment portal before your order is made and picked up; we accept no cash for curbside pickups

We are a gourmet dessert shop with unique items each with their individual flavor profiles you won't find in other locations nor in your local grocery store. Our prices reflect traditional, handcrafted treats made from scratch, small batch items, with custom created recipes
