Queens Together’s “Donate and Dine” program can now accept your donations, giving you access throughout March to the discounts generously offered by our Restaurant Month participating eateries. Your donation to QT’s vital food relief efforts will provide meals and groceries to neighbors across the borough. We will work with local restaurants and community groups to achieve this goal.
More than 54 restaurants in Queens have signed up already (see them all here), and that number is growing daily! As a reminder, this is how it will work:
-
Starting today, go here to donate $25 or more to Queens Together’s food relief work. Each $25 donation provides meals or groceries for a family of four.
-
Look for your emailed donation receipt. That will be your ticket to scoring those restaurant discounts this month. (We recommend taking a screenshot so you have easy access later.)
-
From March 1-31, show your donation receipt to participating restaurants while dining in or picking up (this doesn’t apply to delivery orders). Each of the 54 plus restaurants is offering a menu-wide discount between 10% and 20%.
-
Visit as many restaurants as you can throughout March, because that donation receipt gets you unlimited access to all Restaurant Month discounts (and we want to give extra love to our amazing participating eateries!).
For Queens diners, here’s your chance to do good and eat well, all March long. Help reduce food insecurity in our borough, support the local restaurants that support our community, and get rewarded with delicious discounted food.
Now for the why: This March marks four years since Queens Together was created to empower restaurants and support our communities. Since then, it’s helped hundreds of restaurants and fed more than 300K people affected by the pandemic. We are thrilled and grateful to be able to take this next step in connecting our restaurants and communities to combat food insecurity together in NYC’s largest borough.
